North Ark supports your users, runs Microsoft 365, secures the environment and manages your cloud and infrastructure. Three plans, from $139 per user per month, ex GST.
All prices are per user per month, ex GST, on a 12-month agreement, with a minimum of 15 users. Frontline staff on shared devices are billed at a lower rate. Microsoft, AI and other software licences are billed separately, and North Ark can supply Microsoft licences if you want one invoice. Final pricing depends on the size and complexity of your environment; Managed Complete prices assume a typical number of servers and sites for your user count. Organisations above 250 users get volume pricing. If your own IT team wants to keep first-line support, ask about co-managed pricing.

Limited: small AI and automation requests (a simple flow, a script, a custom GPT set up for a team), up to two hours of engineering each.
Project: senior engineering work such as design, architecture and improvement is quoted as a project. Every plan still escalates faults to North Ark engineers.
Managed Complete capacity: 10 minutes per user per month, from 6 to 30 hours, used across the quarter.
Why IT gets harder to run as you grow
One IT person can't cover everything. Support, Microsoft 365, security, cloud, networks and now AI are each a specialism. Hiring for all of them costs more than most organisations can justify, and the people you hire leave with what they know.
Support-first providers hit a ceiling. Many managed service providers are built around user support, and they do it well. The difficulty starts when the problem is in Conditional Access, a site-to-site VPN, a backup that has never been restored or an Azure network, and the fix needs a senior engineer they don't have on the account.
Several vendors means several gaps. An MSP for support, a partner for security, a contractor for the network, someone else for Azure. Each owns a slice. Problems that cross the slices wait.
What North Ark manages
One team, one agreement, one place to call.
Users and support: unlimited remote support for your people, joiners and leavers, and vendor coordination.
Devices: Windows devices managed through Intune, patched, monitored and secured.
Microsoft 365: Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, identity and licences administered and kept secure.
Security: identity, endpoint, email, backup, vulnerability management and Essential Eight improvement, run every month.
Cloud and infrastructure: Azure, servers, virtualisation, networks, firewalls, backup and disaster recovery.
AI and automation: ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot deployed, governed and supported, and automations built and kept running.
Why North Ark
Engineers behind the service desk. Every support request has a path to a senior engineer. Faults that cross identity, network and cloud are fixed by people who can see all three.
One team across the whole environment. The team that helps a user with Outlook also runs your Azure routing, remediates an identity security finding, plans your VMware exit and helps your finance team get an AI workflow into production.
Repetitive work is automated. Onboarding, patch reporting, configuration checks and evidence gathering run as automation. That keeps the price per user stable and leaves engineers time for the problems that need judgement.
Everything is written down, and it's yours. Configuration, documentation and runbooks are kept in a platform you can see and, for infrastructure, as code in your own repository. If you leave, nothing leaves with us.
Clear boundaries. Each plan says what is included and what is a project, so you won't get a bill for work you assumed was covered.
AI that your people use, with help when they get stuck
Buying AI licences is the easy part. North Ark helps your organisation deploy them, set the rules, train people on their own work, and support them when they start building things. AI licences are separate from the plan price.
Deploy
ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot set up with single sign-on, permissions and admin controls. All plans.
Govern
Approved tools, acceptable use, what data can and can't go in. Basic in Managed; full from Managed Secure.
Train
Practical sessions built around each team's real work. Managed Secure and up.
Support
An employee's flow fails, a custom GPT can't reach SharePoint, authentication won't work: they raise a request and an engineer helps. Managed Secure and up.
Build
Small requests in Managed Secure; ongoing capacity in Managed Complete; larger work as a project.
Improve
Repetitive work found and removed, quarter by quarter. Managed Secure and up.
Engineering depth behind every plan
The same team handles a user who can't open Outlook and an Azure route table that is dropping traffic. That matters most on the day a problem turns out to be bigger than it looked.
North Ark's engineers work across Azure, hybrid infrastructure, Windows Server and Linux, VMware, Hyper-V and Azure Local, networking and firewalls, identity, Microsoft security tooling, backup and disaster recovery, infrastructure as code and automation. Our engineers hold AZ-104 and AZ-305 certifications, and all of them are based in Australia.
In Managed and Managed Secure, that depth sits behind the service desk as escalation. In Managed Complete, it runs your infrastructure every day and comes with capacity to improve it.
Security that is run, every month
Security tools only help if someone configures them, reads what they find and fixes it. From Managed Secure up, North Ark runs your Microsoft security stack, closes findings inside the managed scope, keeps your Essential Eight position current and reports on it every quarter. High-severity alerts page an on-call engineer, day or night.
Managed includes a security baseline from day one: MFA for every user, Conditional Access, and endpoint protection configured.
Onboarding: what happens in the first weeks
Onboarding is a one-off fee, quoted with your plan and based on the size of your environment. It can be spread over the first three months.
Discover the environment: users, devices, applications, Microsoft 365, network and infrastructure.
Document what exists, before we change it.
Review access, remove shared and stale admin accounts, and set up named, least-privilege access for North Ark.
Deploy management and security agents, and apply the security baseline for your plan.
Check backups, including whether a restore works.
Take over from your previous provider, including credentials and documentation.
Give you a written list of what we found.
What we find, and what happens next
Onboarding is where years of decisions become visible. We don't fix everything at once, and we don't hide anything. Every issue is classed:
Critical: a live risk. We tell you straight away and fix it during onboarding if it's small, or quote it immediately if it isn't.
Recommended: should be fixed. It goes on your improvement plan and is worked through over the first months where it fits within the service.
Improvement: would make things better. It's discussed at your first review.
Anything large becomes a separately quoted project, and you decide when.
What the plan covers, and what is a project
The plan keeps your environment running, secure and improving. A project changes what the environment is.
Included in your plan: support, administration, patching, monitoring, security operations, fixing faults, small changes, and (in Managed Complete) improvement work from your engineering capacity.
New platforms: Azure landing zones, Azure Local, Microsoft Sentinel, a new firewall or network design
Office moves and new sites
Large rollouts: Intune across the fleet, a major Essential Eight uplift
Building larger automations, integrations and custom AI applications
A useful rule of thumb: if a single piece of work needs more than two days of engineering, or a plan and a rollback agreed with the business, it's a project. You'll always see the quote before work starts.
The commercial details
Support hours: remote support runs during business hours, as set out in your agreement. Critical issues are covered after hours in Managed Complete; for Managed and Managed Secure, after-hours support is an add-on. Security alerting runs day and night from Managed Secure up.
Onsite: support is remote first, which is how most issues get fixed fastest. Onsite visits are arranged when a problem needs hands on hardware, and are not part of the per-user price.
Hardware: not included in the plan price.
Software and AI licences: not included. You buy them directly or through us, and they appear as a separate line.
Third-party applications: supported for normal use once they're on your supported list, agreed at onboarding. Application faults are taken up with the vendor on your behalf.
Older and unsupported systems: systems the vendor no longer supports are looked after on a best-effort basis. We'll list them at onboarding with a recommendation.
Term: 12 months. Your configuration and documentation are yours from day one.
The service agreement sets out the detail. The aim here is that nothing in it surprises you.
Questions buyers ask
How much will it cost for our organisation?
The number of users multiplied by the plan price, subject to a minimum of 15 users, plus a one-off onboarding fee. Licences are separate. We confirm your price after a short call about your environment.
Is support unlimited?
Remote support during business hours is unlimited for the users on your plan. Projects, after-hours support outside your plan and onsite visits are separate.
Do we have to change our Microsoft licences?
Not usually. Managed Secure works best with Microsoft 365 Business Premium or E3 with E5 Security. If your licences don't support a control we include, we'll tell you at quote stage and show the cost separately.
We have an internal IT person or team. Does this replace them?
No. Many organisations keep their internal team on the work that needs business knowledge and use North Ark for the rest. Co-managed pricing is available where your team keeps first-line support.
Who has access to our environment?
Named people, with least-privilege access, and you're told who whenever access is granted.
Where are your engineers?
All North Ark engineers are based in Australia. North Ark is based in Brisbane and works with organisations across Australia.
Can you help with AI if we haven't bought any licences yet?
Yes. We'll help you choose between ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot for how your teams work, set it up properly and put the rules in place before people start.
What happens if we leave?
Documentation, configuration and code are already yours. We hand over to your team or your next provider, remove our access, and confirm it in writing.
Why choose North Ark over a larger MSP?
Because the team supporting your users can also fix your network, secure your identity platform, run your Azure environment and get your automations into production. You get one team with engineering depth, on a plan with a clear price.
